The Switch Riders Indian Ocean Circuit: Part 1

The Indian Ocean, for all you geographically challenged stunt fans, is a body of water that lies between the East coast of Africa and extends past India all the way to the West coast of Australia. The ocean is speckled with paradise-like islands, glittering beaches and many, many motorcycle fans. Lucky for the motorcycle fans residing there, the Switch Riders from France are contracted to put on a handful of stunt shows over the next six months. After a show in August 2010 on the French island "Île de la Réunion" the team was booked for nearly a half-year of overseas adventure and stunt shows.

Lucky for us the Switch Riders are meticulously documenting their trips through videos, pictures and our StuntBums exclusive coverage :) We talked to our French correspondent, Fouinox, from the Switch Riders and he let us know what's in line for the team this upcoming year. From January-March they will be performing on various island throughout the Indian Ocean such as Seychelles, Mayotte, Madagascar and Rodrigues. While these islands geographically are near Madagascar (an island nation off the coast of Africa) they are Republics that primarily speak French - so the Switch Riders are an awesome team to bring in.

The team has already performed their first show during the Vegas Motor Show on l'Île Maurice on October 20th, check out the following videos from this trip. Clearly they are excited to be a part of this overseas stunt adventure they are embarking on and they are loving the foreign beaches and colorful cultures.
