The Extreme Riders Contest hosted by the Riviera Stunt Riders took place this weekend in the Alps. Set on main street in a tiny ski village, the event had ambiance to spare. With a decent turn-out of around 25 riders, the sounds of rev limiters filled the valley all day Saturday but was cut short Sunday due to rain.

The event had the extreme rider obstacle course, longest endo and a dual where two rider rode against each other in 30-second heats. Fifty-eight no-handed circle record holder, Skyz, took first with Thomas "Blade" Sagnier taking second.

Kévin "Kafon" Parussini rolled to first place in the endo contest, with Thomas "Blade" Sagnier and K-Lu hot on his heels.  To keep the crowd on their toes and push the riders, each time a rider rolled to the barrier, they would move it back before the next round. Kafon also blasted through the extreme riders contest with the winning time, completing things like wheelies, stoppies, burnouts and grabbing a bra while in a christ.

While the Extreme Riders contest isn't re-defining the future of stunt competitions, it's a fun weekend to ride with friends and get back to the true spirit of our sport.

Oh....and Saturday night involvded a discotec full of stunt riders, so clearly it was a great weekend.
