A good motto to have with stunting and setting up your bike is "better safe than sorry." The chances of you falling on top of your sprocket at some point in your riding career are rather high, and when that happens there is a good chance your hands will be what breaks your fall. Many stunt riders have mangled their hands and/or lost fingers over the years, don't chance it!

Shark fins are simple products that are easily made or cheaply bought, easy to install and well worth the 30 minutes of your life. You will need your shark fin, rivet nuts, bolts to match your rivet nuts, a hammer, punch and drill. Follow the instructions in the video to drill holes to install your shark fin and slap that baby on, your fingers will let a sigh of relief out knowing the chances of their being amputated in a sprocket accident have just been practically removed.
