Help with F4 steering stabilizer

I have a 2002 CBR 600 F4i, and I want to put a steering stabilizer on it. I have seen newer (like 07, 08, 09 ect) parts bikes that had them for cheap, and I was wondering if it is possible to use one of those on my bike, or would it be better to spend the money for an aftermarket stabilizer? Anyone have any thoughts?!
