Clutch Safety Switch

Just got my ez-pull clutch but now stumped. Im not too familiar with the electronics of my '06 600rr specially with regards to this tiny little switch under the stock levers. Any tips and/or suggestions to keep its functionality after installing the new clutch lever? Or what would you rather do? Responses gladly appreciated.

Your easy pull clutch probably doesn't support that functionality.

You have two options:
a.) Leave it disconnected, which will require you to be in neutral each time to start.
b.) Hardwire it and leave it connected at all times. This will let you start the bike out of neutral (but also without the clutch engaged).

Most stunters go with route b as a means you're constantly jamming your bike into gear with a high idle after starting it which doesn't work out to well for your transmission.

Thanks! Since my bike is also a daily commuter, I guess I could just mount a manual switch: OFF(disconnected) - for safe street riding, and ON - for when stunting?

I *personally* wouldn't sweat that being disabled, but I'm used to pulling in my clutch every time I hit the starter.

I guess i just need to try out both for a while and see which I prefer. Thanks!
