XDL: the premiere stunting championship on the planet. And you know what? With a little hard work and determination there is no reason you can’t be throwing down with your idols at XDL. Clearly jumping into the series is intimidating, so we asked the 2012 XDL rookies about their first year competing and asked for some pointers, if anyone dreams of riding in XDL someday.

The sun came out for the XDL Championship Series Finals in Portland, Oregon. Riders from around the world completed their season in front of eager Pacific Northwest fans who were happy to see the event come to their corner of the country for the first time.
Empire athlete, Joel Figueroa is getting ready to hit the XDL circuit and compete with some of the world's top stunt riders. Here's a peek into his stunt life and how he prepares to go from amateur to pro.

And the official word is in: Polish rider Rafal "Stunter13" Pasierbek took first in the finals at XDL Indy.

The results from the first day of XDL Indy are in and...yes ladies and gentleman, Rafal Paseirbek is leading the FMF Cup. But not just leading, he has a whopping four point lead on second place rider, Bill Dixon. Granted Bill broke his forks in practice on Thursday, but was over-nighted a new pair for Friday, so we can't say if he is adjusting to the new forks or not.

One of my favorite developments to watch over the last few years is the increasing quality in stunt videos. At long last the 9-minutes of shaky, ralph-louie camera-phone videos are a dying breed and beautiful, artistic videos are replacing them.

From now until the "Inside XDL" TV series premieres on Versus (October 12th) StuntBums says you should change your facebook profile picture to the "Inside XDL" poster (available below) for the following reasons:

Finally, for the first time in the history of the Indianapolis-based XDL finals, the weekend forecast called for all sunshine and not a drop of rain! After an exciting Friday night of Sickest Trick and Sartso Women's Cup finals, the riders were ready to lay it down on the dry asphalt in order to kick off round 1 of the FMF Cup for a very jubilant crowd.

Here is the second riding video from the StuntBums' 5D dungeon highlighting the riding that went on at the XDL exhibition at X-Games 16.
